Carlos Samuel Mendez Blanco

My name is Carlos Méndez Blanco and I am 27 years old. I have a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela and MSc. in Systems and Control from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands. I am currently a PhD candidate in the Control Systems Group working in the INSPEC project. My current research focuses on parameter identifiability and online model maintenance, which are critical for model-based operation in process systems. My interests and hobbies are tennis, soccer and swimming. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, reading novels and learning languages
